I often hear people save it cost to much money to be green. This is so far from the truth.
Being green is really easy to start and you may be doing things that you never really thought about.
Starting Some Where:
Do you ever stop at a yard sale or swing into the local Good Will? Every thing you buy at these places is "recycled". Someone could have thrown these items in the trash and continued to build upon our massive piles of rubbish that contaminates our land, water and air. But you buy these recycled items, use them and in the end save money.
This makes me think of my father-in-law at Christmas. (now my in-laws have money and really want for nothing, but they are also smart.) He was oh so proud of his new electric knife as he cut the Christmas bird. The reason he was proud was because he got it for $1.25 (1/2 price) at the local Good Will on 1/2 price Friday.
Remember you don't have to do everything at once. Start small and work your way around the house.
